Review of Mailerlite: MailChimp Alternative
I’m sure you use some kind of email tool, something that allows you to create pretty-looking templates, send out emails to your audience, and such. Email is not dead yet gang!
Today, I wanted to show you MailerLite – which is a MailChimp alternative – and I think it’s even easier to use and can be cheaper, depending on the size of your list.
Let’s dive in.
MailerLite is so easy to use it’s incredible. Everything is drag and drop, it’s really easy to add text, images, elements in seconds and get an email designed and sent. It’s an incredible tool.
2 things that MailerLite has (that MailChimp does not):
Popups & Landing Pages.
MailerLite offers a quick and basic way to put a popup or a form on your WordPress site that prompts the user to put in their info and get added to your mailing list. It looks pretty basic but the advantage is that you don’t have to pay for another tool just to connect it back to MailerLite, everything is already included.
Aside from the awesome drag-and-drop interface, MailerLite’s main advantage was its awesome Landing Pages (before MailChimp launched a similar feature only a few months ago).
I actually signed up for this email service because they offer landing pages. Again, it’s super simple to make one and every visitor that puts in their name gets automatically added to your mailing list within the utility itself. It’s as simple as it goes and saves you money (because you don’t have to purchase a separate landing page tool).
Here is a landing page that I created in 5.4 minutes:
MailerLite has a free plan that allows you to send unlimited emails to up to 1000 subscribers. So you can play with the tool and see if it’s for you before uploading your full list.
Also, MailerLite is cheaper than MailChimp for any amount of subscribers. Here is a comparison chart:
If you want a tool that has everything you need – email automation, drag-and-drop builder, landing pages, and popups – you should check out MailerLite. It’s also cheaper than MailChimp, and is arguably the easiest email tool out there.
